Absolute Piffle

General commentary and new links from Richard Gillmann. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's serious, and sometimes it's just there.

We were in Hawaii last week. It was great, especially seeing the humpback whales off Maui. We saw them breaching many times, even just watching from the shore. It wasn't wall-to-wall whales, but there were still a lot of them.

One thing I learned in Hawaii is that there are now boutique organic coffee growers, mostly on the Kona coast of the big island. Their prices are sky high, like $45 a pound, but all hand made and organically grown. Still, does it taste better? Here are some web sites I got from an in-flight magazine.
