Folk Songs about the Jewish High Holy Days (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur)

The Jewish high holidays are observed during the 10 day period between the first day (Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year) and the 10th day (Yom Kippur) of Tishri, the seventh month of the Jewish calender. The harvest festival of Sukkot (or Succoth) follows five days later and lasts for a week.

Please note that Jewish holidays begin at sunset of the preceding evening.
