Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of the Mexicans over the French army at The Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Led by Mexican General Zaragosa, a militia of about 4,500 were able to stop and defeat a French army of 6,500 soldiers, which halted the invasion of the country.
I'm also including songs about Mexico and famous Mexicans.
