I guess Larry Sparks has the classic version of "John Deere Tractor"
Larry Sparks had a John Deere Tractor song, but so did Don Walser.  Totally
different songs.
This is a longshot, but I remember a song (can't recall the artist), and I think it was from 
the soundtrack of Robert Altman's movie, "Nashville," called "Tapedeck in His Tractor."  
There's a great country song (I think it's Kenny Chesney) called "John Deere Green":
