Eli West

Eli West

Since I moved to the northwest, I've come to think of Eli West's music as something of a soundtrack to this region. An essential part of every road trip playlist, it's been woven into so many good memories and travels through this state that it's taken me a while to write this because I keep getting lost in happy reveries. I'm pretty sure that every time I have run into Eli, I've asked if he'd be interested in doing a concert over here. While he is often off touring the world, I'm thrilled that the universe has aligned in such a way that this is finally going to happen. If you're out on a roadtrip of your own, may I recommend Eli's latest release, which is brilliant: https://elidoes.bandcamp.com/ Don't miss this one! ************************ 6:30 - Tacos! Carl Tosten

Carl Tosten

Modern acoustic. Singer/songwriter. Contemporary folk. Carl Tosten is a musician whose style defies easy classification. With his strong and soulful voie and an eclectic and expressive guitar technique that includes percussion, tapping, multiple open tunings and capos, Tosten has been called an "acoustic one-man band". His introspective and thoughtful lyrics speak to us individually as well as collectively with his observations on society, the complexities of living, and love. Classical and jazzy overtones elevate his original compositions to a level more sophisticated than simply "folk", and his live performances are filled with intense energy, stories, and songs that captivate and inspire his audience.

Michael Powers

Michael Powers

Michael was born in New York City in 1960, but grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. His musical career began as therapy, when at the age of 15 he took up strumming the guitar to strengthen his wrist after a skateboard accident. Following his graduation from Berkeley High School when he was 15½, he moved to Seattle and frequented local jam sessions, keeping his fingers on the guitar strings and his mind on making his music reach a wider audience. Says Powers, “I learned how to play by sitting in at as many places as I could, developing eclectic tastes by playing with all types of bands: Jazz, Rock, Blues, R&B, and Top 40. ...

New Rhythmatics New Years Eve Show

The New Rhythmatics, a Seattle-based 5-piece, has been playing a lively, danceable mix of vintage tunes around Pacific Northwest venues since 2014. Veterans of various local and national groups, their fluid repertoire flows around the earliest blues masters, 40’s big band, 50’ country, ’60’s pop gold, and '70's swamp soul. The band offers an incredible variety of great music played with energy and a high level of musicianship.
