Before----
I am about to make my first sermon
at a local Unitarian Church.
Topic-- What I can learn from my shadow?
Have worked hard to prepare for it.
Feeling great appreciation for the people who do this every week.
Nervous even though I know that I am ready.
Listening to my favorite Hawaiian singer---IZ.
He was such an amazing teacher.
I think I will bring him with me today.
After-----
It went well.
The teachings came out without notes.
Wrote about 2 hours worth of material-
managed to condense it into 30 minutes.
People seemed appreciative.
Felt tired and exhausted afterwards.
Wanted the heavens to open up and proclaim me as a new teacher.
Didn't happen.
Guess I will have to keep working!
